Federal Impact Aid Survey
As a military community, the York County School Division receives annual Impact Aid funding from the U.S. Department of Education. Impact Aid is a federal program designed to support schools in communities with federally owned, tax exempt properties.
Each year, the federal government requires school divisions to survey every family to identify students who are federally connected. The information gathered through the confidential Impact Aid survey directly impacts the amount of funding YCSD receives. These funds are essential for providing teachers, support staff with textbooks, classroom computers, library books and other supplies and equipment needed to prepare every child for a successful future.
The electronic survey is now available on SchoolCash Online, the division’s online form and payment system. We ask you to support YCSD students by using the link below to complete the survey as soon as possible, even if you do not believe your child is federally connected. Please complete the form for each school-age child attending YCSD schools and ensure click the submit form upon completion.
We recognize the transition from Rycor to the new form and payment system has caused some confusion, including duplicate forms appearing in accounts last week. We have resolved this issue, and any incorrect forms have been removed. Please be sure to complete all required forms in your account this week.
